3D INTERNET LEADER CHANGES NAME
TO WORLDS.COM

Boston, August 4, 1999 - Worlds Inc., a leader in three dimensional (3D) technology and content for the Internet, today announced that it has changed the name under which it will conduct business to Worlds.com.

Worlds has pioneered 3D technology and content delivered over the Internet and has recently signed agreements to deliver its technology taking advantage of its broadband content.

Over the past 90 days, Worlds.com has signed contracts with Freeserve, the largest UK-based ISP, a subsidiary of Dixons Group plc, and Road Runner, one of this country's two largest cable modem providers. Road Runner is owned by Time-Warner, MediaOne Group, Microsoft Corp., Compaq Computer and Advance/Newhouse.

For Freeserve, Worlds.com is the official and exclusive 3D Internet broadband chat content provider as well as the official 2D chat content provider. For Road Runner, Worlds.com has created a 3D co-branded area on the Road Runner music channel. In addition, Worlds.com, through e-commerce on-line stores, sells merchandise and collectible items for such music and entertainment stars as David Bowie, Shania Twain, Hanson, Elton John, Sting and U2.

"We continue to see numerous and growing opportunities on the Internet for Worlds.com proprietary 3D broadband content," said Steven G. Chrust, chairman of Worlds.com. "Our capabilities and technology serve to enhance the attractiveness of ISPs who are increasingly looking for ways to attract visitors to and keep them within the environments (and pages) of their services.

"Our name change is a reflection of Worlds.com leading the way for 3D broadband content," further noting that "the Internet is a flat media that will evolve into a robust, immersive, interactive 3D world, enhancing the Internet experience as color did for TV, particularly in the music and entertainment categories. With our broadband capability and our leadership position in three-dimensional technology, we are poised to take advantage of this emerging marketplace as Worlds.com moves even closer to establishing itself as the 3D Internet Channel."
