WORLDS.COM 3D INTERNET TECHNOLOGY AND BROADBAND CONTENT TO BE ON OVER 700,000 SPECIAL ENHANCED CDs TO BE INCLUDED WITH
GQ MAGAZINE'S 1999 'MEN OF THE YEAR' ISSUE
Boston, Mass. October 5, 1999 -Worlds.com, formerly Worlds, Inc. (OTC:WDDD; www.worlds.com), a leader in three-dimensional Internet technology and broadband content, today announced that its 'Worlds Ultimate 3D Chat Plus…™' software and content service will be included on over 700,000 special enhanced CDs that will be included in the November, 1999 GQ magazine 'Men of the Year' issue.
This special enhanced CD will also include several audio tracks from one of the worlds' leading recording artists, as well as other enhancements.
Although Worlds.com's proprietary 3D Internet technology and broadband content have been included on record artist CDs before, this is the Company's first major magazine bundling relationship. Worlds.com will also receive prominent acknowledgement on the CD insert package which it helped to design.
Thom Kidrin, President and CEO of Worlds.com, stated that "we greatly welcome this initial opportunity to have our graphically rich and highly interactive internet content included on this special enhanced CD. It is equally gratifying that this initial CD bundle is included in not only a magazine as important and with as large a rate base as GQ, but that it is included in what is undoubtedly their most important issue of the year."
Mr. Kidrin concluded by stating that "we are currently in active discussions with other magazines to, hopefully, have somewhat similar technology and content distribution opportunities, including discussions with several of the largest magazines in the world in their respective categories."
This GQ opportunity is yet another step toward Worlds.com's objective of building the largest 3D online community of highly interactive user members and toward Worlds.com becoming The 3D Internet Channel.
