WORLDS.COM NAMES RECORD-INDUSTRY VET
TO HEAD E-COMMERCE DIVISION

NEW YORK, NY, March 23, 2000- Worlds.com, (OTC Bulletin Board: WDDD), the leading three-dimensional (3D) entertainment portal, today announced that Marty Scott, a record industry veteran who founded JEM Records, will be vice president of its e-commerce division of 33 e-commerce stores that sell music, clothing and sports items.

Among the major recording artists whose merchandise is available at worlds.com e-commerce sites are Elton John, David Bowie, Shania Twain, Hanson and Sting. The company said that unlike other e-commerce sites, worlds.com stores are in 3D, making it possible for shoppers to travel to the store, walk around the product and see it from all angles. Worlds.com e-commerce sites are also unique in that friends or family members can meet in the e-commerce sites and go shopping together at the same time, chat about the product and interact with each other. "In addition, the richness of our product offerings make Worlds.com's e-commerce sites exciting shopping environments,'' says Scott.

"Marty brings a wealth of experience and creativity in helping companies distinguish themselves in a crowded marketplace.'' said Steven G. Chrust, chairman of Worlds.com. "He created alternative distribution techniques for the record industry, innovated niche labels and new branding strategies. His background and relationships will provide leadership as we expand our 3D entertainment, advertising and e-commerce sites. Marty will be responsible for the integration of our e-commerce initiative with our innovative 3D entertainment and advertising portal.''

During his career, Scott headed the Passport record labels and JEM distribution companies. He was associated with distributing for such companies as Rhino and Virgin International. He also started an imprint at MCA Records and consulted with N2K and Polygram's PolyMedia division. In his position with Worlds.com, he will also develop new sales and marketing opportunities for the e-commerce division.

"We have a strong base in the music industry,'' Scott said, "and other significant relationships such as the New York Yankees -- we host the team's 3D site -- as well as Freeserve in the United Kingdom and Roadrunner in the U.S. We are looking to expand the commercial opportunities with all of them.''
