Old Greenwich, CT, September 12, 2000 –
Worlds.com (OTC/BB: WDDD), the leading three dimensional (3D)
entertainment portal on the Internet, today announced that it had named Tom Messner, a founding partner of the
advertising agency Messner Vetere Berger McNamee Schmetterer Euro/RSCG (MVBMS), to its Board of Directors.
Messner, who started MVBMS with four partners and two employees in 1986, has overseen the growth of the agency to its
present $1.9 billion in billings. MVBMS/Euro RSCG, based in New York, is now a part of the Havas Group, one of the world’s

“The addition of Tom to our Board,” said Steven G. Chrust, Worlds.com chairman, “will add significant value as we expand our
advertising and content initiatives. Tom’s long relationships, creativity and expertise provide a combination that will be
extremely valuable during this phase of our growth.”
In addition to Mssrs. Messner and Chrust, the Worlds.com Board is comprised of Thom Kidrin (Worlds.com CEO), Kenneth A.
Locker and William Harvey. Messner replaces Michael J. Scharff, who resigned earlier this year.
About Worlds.com
Worlds.com, the Internet’s premier 3D entertainment portal, leverages its proprietary technology to offer visitors a network of
virtual, multi-user environments that have rich media graphics, text chat, voice-to-voice chat, streaming video and
e-commerce. The environments are focused around entertainment interests and targeted communities such as music, sports,
and general entertainment environments. In the Worlds’ Avatar Gallery, visitors select an avatar (3D character), and customize
it into a personal virtual
representation of themselves. The avatar is used to travel in and through the various virtual environments and participate in
interactive activities involving entertainment, promotions, or e-commerce. Avatars can chat with one another, dance in a
nightclub, e-shop, watch video clips and participate in other activities.
The Worlds.com entertainment portal can be accessed from throughout the world and provides its 3D experience to users of
such major sites as Freeserve, Road Runner, e-New Media and Shinwon Telecom. These distribution partnerships allow
Worlds.com to have a presence throughout Europe (specifically the UK), Pan Asia, the Hong Kong region and South Korea.
